What is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is a non-invasive facial treatment using a patented device to deliver exfoliation, cleansing, extraction, and hydration to the face. This system uses a vortex swirling action to deliver hydration and gently remove dead skin, dirt, debris, and impurities while cleaning and soothing your skin. HydraFacials are one of the most outstanding non-invasive skin resurfacing treatments available today. It combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidant protection while simultaneously delivering moisturizing serums to the skin.

Is a HydraFacial Right for Me?

Anyone can be a good candidate for a HydraFacial in Frisco and McKinney. No matter your skin tone or type, you can experience major benefits from this treatment. A HydraFacial can be used if you have sensitive or dry skin.  It’s also a beneficial treatment for those experiencing acne, rosacea or a wide variety of other skin issues.

How is a HydraFacial Performed?

The perfect HydraFacial is performed in four steps:

Step 1: Cleansing

The HydroPeel tip is used with a specific deep cleansing solution to cleanse the surface of your skin, removing the initial layer of oil and dirt.

Step 2: Exfoliation

A light chemical peel (a combination of glycolic and salicylic acid) is applied to exfoliate debris (dead skin). The chemical peel lowers the pH of the skin, breaking the bonds that hold the upper dead layers of skin together to allow for the gentle removal of dead skin without irritation.

Step 3: Extraction

Painless vortex suction easily dislodges blackheads, whiteheads, and sebum to further extract these impurities from deep within the pores.

Step 4: Infusion

Antioxidants and hyaluronic acid are infused into the now clean and fresh skin to hydrate, nourish, and protect the skin.

The results of a HydraFacial are soft, hydrated, clean, and glowing skin with a smooth texture and even skin tone.

HydraFacial Aftercare Routine to Ensure the Best Results

In the hours following your HydraFacial in McKinney and Frisco, it's important to avoid sweating. The procedure deeply cleanses your skin, possibly making it sensitive to excessive oil from a sweaty workout, hot shower, or sauna. Similarly, applying makeup in the hours after your HydraFacial is not recommended.  Allow your skin to breathe!

Hydrafacial FAQ

How often should I get a HydraFacial?

For optimal skin health and consistent results, many patients benefit from a HydraFacial every 4–6 weeks. However, your ideal schedule may vary based on your skin type, concerns, and lifestyle.

Can HydraFacial be combined with other treatments?

Yes! HydraFacials are gentle and non-invasive, making them a great complement to other aesthetic treatments such as dermal fillers, BOTOX, or light-based therapies. Dr. Rana can help create a customized treatment plan during your consultation.

Will there be any peeling or flaking after a HydraFacial?

Most patients experience no peeling or flaking after a HydraFacial. The treatment is designed to gently exfoliate without irritation. If your skin is particularly congested or dry, you might notice mild flaking, which resolves quickly.

Is there any downtime or recovery period?

HydraFacials require no downtime, making them an ideal “lunchtime” treatment. You can return to your daily activities right after, though it’s best to avoid heavy sweating and makeup for a few hours.

Can men benefit from HydraFacials?

Absolutely. HydraFacials are effective for all skin types and genders. Men often choose HydraFacials to help reduce blackheads, ingrown hairs, enlarged pores, and dull skin caused by shaving or sun exposure.
